We have been grinding stumps since 1982 and worked on clean ups after several large hurricanes, including Hugo in 1989, Isabel in 2003, and Charlie Jeanne and Francis in 2004. Hurricanes create a lot of large uprooted tree stumps that often require powerful equipment and skilled operators to complete efficiently. Our high horse power yet extremely compact stump grinding equipment is perfect for removing these large stumps in residential settings. We take great care in grinding these large uplifted root plates to knock the dirt off both sides of the uplifted stump, before grinding the woody portions. After the dirt is knocked off, we use the plow blade on the front of our grinder to push the dirt back into the hole and level it as much as possible. This is important because it makes the removal of the grindings much easier, should that need to be done at a later date.

We also focus on keeping your home and landscape as clean as possible. We use large protective tarps to cover houses, siding, decks, windows, sheds etc, and screens that keep the mess contained around the stump. Keeping the mess off your fixtures and neatly contained around the stump makes our clean up much easier. We also use a power broom for cleanup of lawn areas, which does a phenomenal job of raking all the scattered wood shavings into a neat pile, right where the stump used to be.
